SPECIFICATIONS

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS

PLANKING

• Bottom Planking is quadruple ( 4 layers ) diagonal 12mm ( 1/2"- ) mahogany with 20 oz. fiberglass cloth & epoxy in between second & third layer. Outside bottom is covered with two layers of Kevlar/Fiberglass blend fabric with epoxy resin. Structural bulkheads are 1" solid marine plywood. Additional inside framing and panel reinforcement where required. Bilge areas inside hull are fiberglassed and topcoat painted.

 
• Side Planking is triple ( 3 layers ) diagonal 9mm ( 3/8") mahogany with 20 oz fiberglass cloth & epoxy between first and second layer. Outside planking to be fiberglassed with special fine weave cloth to reduce print thru. Vertical framing in Engine Room and other areas where required. 1 ½"  x 2" scarf jointed full length battens run for and aft on 10" -12" centers.

STRUCTURAL

• Transom is marine plywood fiberglassed inside and out. Substantial inside framing. Teak overlay on outside.
• Bridge deck and Forward Decks are Epoxy fiberglassed 3/8" marine plywood glued to laminated fir deck beams.
• Cockpit deck is epoxy fiberglassed 3/8" marine fir plywood planked over with 7/16" x 1 3/4" teak with silicone seam compound.
• Keel Plate and Stem is 7 ½ " x 7 ½ " laminated from Clear Douglas Fir

GLASS

• Tinted - 1/4" Tempered on all flat panels
• Safety Plated on Bridge Curved Glass

HARDWARE

• All fastenings either Marine Grade Stainless Steel, Silicone Bronze, or Monel
• Polished Stainless Steel Cleats and Chocks
• SS half oval chafing protection by all cleats
• 1 1/4 " solid SS. half oval rub rails
